Sage and onion stuffing
This makes enough to fill the two red roasting things. Alternatively, it'll
completely fill the cavity of a 3kg chicken.
- 1 onion
- 1 pack of sage
- 100g panko
- 100g sausage meat
- Dice the onion and put it in the wok.
- Add a bit of water and salt, put it on the gas, cover, and let it soften.
- Uncover, let the water evaporate.
- Crush half of the garlic and chop the sage.
- Make a well in the onion and melt some butter (quite a lot)
- Fry the garlic and sage in the butter, then stir it all together.
- Let it all cook down a bit longer.
- Mix in the panko.
- Beat the egg in a bowl.
- When the stuffing has cooled down a bit, mix in the egg.
- Mix in the sausage meat.
